The IV Saline Bag is a medical item that is not commonly found in DayZ Standalone. Players typically have to create it by combining a Saline Bag and an IV Start Kit. This injection is suitable for all blood types and increases blood regeneration by five times the normal rate for three minutes. It also significantly restores a player's water stat to aid in blood regeneration and combat dehydration. Compared to blood transfusions, which require blood type matching, saline is a safer method, except when the donor is O- or the recipient is AB+.
